  • Will you send me a receipt for my donation?
    First Care sends a receipt for all donations. Please be sure to provide the address where you would like it to be mailed.
  • How is First Care Family Resources, Inc. funded?
    First Care is a 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit organization supported by donations from individuals, businesses, churches, foundations, and community organizations. First Care receives government funding for its school-based abstinence program. Services provided by First Care are free.
  • How will my gift by used?
    Your support changes lives every day. It provides direct services to unsupported pregnancies, education for local youth, and empowers the compassionate and relational services that impact so many lives here in Palm Beach County.
  • What does ECFA membership stand for?
    Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability is an accreditation agency dedicated to helping Christian ministries earn the public’s trust through adherence to seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship. Founded in 1979, ECFA provides accreditation to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, fund-raising and board governance. First Care Family Resources, Inc. became an ECFA member in March, 2008.
  • Do you make Form 1023, Form 990 and financial reports available for public inspection?
    Such an inspection must be requested in writing to the Finance Director and will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time during regular office hours.
  • Do you provide money for abortions?
    We do not give referrals to abortion clinics or provide any financial assistance to obtain abortions.
  • Do you distribute any forms of birth control?
    We do not distribute birth control in any form. We do not prescribe or make referrals for emergency contraception.
  • Do you facilitate adoptions?
    We are not a licensed adoption agency, but provide information on options, including adoption.
  • Are you registered for the solicitation of contributions?
    A copy of the official registration and financial information may be obtained from the Florida Division of Consumer Services by calling 1-800-helpfla. Registration Number: CH7258
